Survey of 99.9% Class Efficiency <scp>DC‐AC</scp> Power Conversion and Technical Issues

This study provides a survey overview of the literatures with goal maximizing efficiency DC-AC power conversion from an engineering science perspective. With advent wide band gap semiconductors, published literature on realizing high converters has increased. Therefore, high-efficiency inverters was first conducted. We demonstrated importance measurement accuracy in measuring losses, and then presented new methods, as well examples analysis breakdown these losses. Furthermore, we reviewed inverters. data (99.83%) inverter energy system circuit topology using Silicon Carbide (SiC) Gallium Nitride (GaN) devices to demonstrate how procedure used achieve loss minimization. summarized challenges hindering efficiency. © 2022 Institute Electrical Engineers Japan.
